Infinitely versatile, easily assembled and disassembled, our earth friendly Long Pond Bookshelves have a multitude of uses.  Not just for books, they're also perfect for your video and stereo equipment, as a display unit for your knick knacks and collectibles or as open storage in the bedroom, bath or kitchen.

Available in three heights, each has the same 'footprint', so all the shelves are interchangeable from one unit to the next. Only the top and bottom shelves are fixed, the others simply rest on the 'ladder rungs' of the uprights, and are easily adjustable.  The connector shelves let you join two or more units together to create an entertainment center or open room divider.  If you have lots of small things and need more shelves, we also offer a set of extra shelves.

Our manufacturer is Chain of Custody certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) which supports environmentally responsible manufacturing practices. The cedar is sustainably harvested from woodlots that are managed in an environmentally safe manner. All of the cedar comes from local sources, and is only transported 25 to 85 miles from forest to factory - reducing the carbon footprint of this earth friendly product. Wood waste is kept to a minimum, but any scrap that is generated is ground into shavings to be used as high quality animal bedding.

These shelves complement all our cedar Adirondack and garden furniture and since they're built from unfinished cedar, you can also use them outdoors in your greenhouse or potting shed.  Leave them as is to mellow to a beautiful silver grey, or add the finish of your choice.  Used outdoors the transformation to silver generally takes a year, indoors it will change much more slowly.
