Cedar Adirondack Chairs, Eco Friendly
We carry a variety of eco friendly Adirondack chairs to suit many needs and budgets.
Our top of the line hand made Deluxe Adirondack Chairs and our Tete-a-Tetes are made to a higher standard than most Adirondacks on the market today. The arms and legs are constructed from
1 1/2 inch cedar -- twice as thick as most others use!
We also carry a folding Adirondack, if off season storage is an issue. You'll also find Adirondack rockers that are at home indoors or outdoors.
Wood Picnic Tables, Unfinished Cedar
Our cedar picnic tables are functional, beautiful and environmentally friendly all at the same time, making a long-lasting 'green'
addition to your home.
Our adult picnic tables are hand built with 1 1/2" thick cedar in 4 foot, 6 foot and 8 foot lengths to fit different size families and spaces. All are available with either attached benches
or separate benches.

Here you'll find our eco-friendly unfinished cedar gliders in all sizes - single seaters, two person gliders or our deluxe 4 person
glider with seats facing each other.

Features of Our Cedar Seating
- Earth friendly, 'green' manufacturing processes using only sustainably harvested wood.
- Local sourcing of wood reduces carbon footprint from transportation.
- Left unfinished, cedar will typically provide 15 to 25 years of use outdoors.
- Our cedar, natural and untreated (why is this important?), is grown in moist swampy New England woodlands.
- Cedar absorbs and loses moisture slowly, which minimizes the dry cracking, splintering and swelling more characteristic of oak or pine.
- Cedar has the US Forest Products Laboratory's highest rating for decay and disease resistance.
- Fresh cedar odor is a mild insect repellent.
- Our cedar products are shipped in their natural color, pale tan or light gold. The color changes evenly over time to a silver gray. Water-based or oil stains will delay the weathering process while preserving the natural wood grain. If you choose to paint, use a latex paint which will coat evenly and let wood breathe.

Most of our hand crafted furniture ships within 1 to 3 business days direct from the manufacturers via UPS Ground. A few items take a bit longer - see the individual product pages for more specific lead times.
