Made from unfinished cedar, this chair will weather to a silvery gray in 6 to 12 months, and last for 15 to 25 years outdoors in its natural state. If you like, you can keep the new milled look by applying a clear wood preserver, or alter the look by applying a darker stain. Stains and preservers will extend the life of your furniture even further - plan on re-applying every 1 to 2 years.
