Our Outdoor Cat Shelter, Ranch Style Cat Shelter, Second Story Duplex and Basic Cat Shelter are designed for and tested by cats. The original cat house has been refined over the past 10 years, and now it has everything kitties (and cat owners) want!

Originally designed for a big 20 lb. stray tom cat named Bubs, the interior space and door size are large enough for big cats, but small enough to keep out all but the smallest dogs. Bubs especially likes the windows, which let in the sunlight, keep out the weather, and allow him to keep an eye on things! In nice weather, he spends many hours on top of the house, snoozing on the flat roof.

I just wanted to write to you (again!) in praise of your outdoor cat shelters. I live in New Jersey and we recently suffered through Hurricane Irene. We had terrible flooding and high winds for HOURS (the flooding still continues) and I was terribly worried about my feral cat colony. Before the storm I checked all the shelters, added the “porches” that I generally use only in winter, added plastic flaps to the back (since it was warm and they needed some ventilation), and generally tried to “batten down the hatches.”
I’m thrilled to report that ALL of the shelters came thru with flying colors. Some are duplexes… some singles… and all of them protected the cats very well. In fact, once the storm was over and the cats came out to eat, I put my hand inside one of the shelters and the straw was warm and dry! Nothing short of amazing. Although I worried about the ferals throughout the storm, it is good to know that these shelters are wonderful -- in rain, snow, or whatever Mother Nature throws at us!

"I want you to know how happy we are with our outdoor bungalow cat house. My husband is very allergic to cats so we have never had one. We found a precious stray cat in our wooded backyard. He was skinny and shy. He started coming to me and I started feeding him. I made a homemade bed with a heated outdoor pad for cats,a blanket, a tarp and an umbrella!
