Originally designed
for a big 20 lb. stray tom cat named Bubs, the interior space and door
size are large enough for big cats, but small enough to keep out all but
the smallest dogs. Bubs especially likes the windows, which let in the
sunlight, keep out the weather, and allow him to keep an eye on things!
In nice weather, he spends many hours on top of the house, snoozing on
the flat roof.
All wood construction allows the house to breathe, and the optional insulation
package keeps your kitty warm and cozy.
A fleece blanket adds to your cat's comfort, and is included with all
our cat houses.

- Val-Spar Floor and Porch Paint used on all painted surfaces. External trim and natural wood panel surfaces finished with a high grade wood sealer.

The Basic is, well, just that! It is designed to do the basic job of providing shelter for an outdoor cat; add the optional insulation package for extra warmth and the optional back door for better ventilation and a quick escape from uninvited guests!
