Silk-Spun rope was created to simulate both the strength and softness of silk. Not content to merely improve the rope, Twin Oaks re-constructed the traditional style rope hammock to increase its comfort. Each hammock uses 50% more rope and is hand woven with 50% more stiches than the standard olefin rope hammock. The resulting closer weave adds extra comfort and support.

Twin Oaks Hammocks ensures superior quality by being involved in each step of the manufacturing process.  They mill and hand finish their own second-growth lumber for the spreader bars, and they twist their own Olefin rope.  They also sew their own pillows and canvas beds for the fabric hammocks.  They are true craftsmen, and it shows!
