Olefin is a lightweight rope with special UV inhibitors for a long life under the sun. It lends itself to bright and vibrant colors that resist fading, and it's mold and mildew resistant. Silk-Spun is as soft, smooth and strong as silk, but as weather and fade resistant as olefin. The denser rope and closer weave of this hammock make it the finest, most luxurious hammock on the market today. Envirope is spun from 100% post-consumer waste polyester fiber - mostly recycled soda bottles. The resulting Envirope is softer than cotton, but much more durable - it will withstand many years of outdoor use.
