The wide 20" x 20" base makes this cat perch exceptionally stable, and the curved upper shelf makes a great napping spot or observation deck if your kitty likes to keep an eye on things - as most cats do! The sisal post is tightly wrapped by machine and stapled at each end. Sisal is a natural plant fiber used to create a very durable rope. We recommend sisal for multiple cat households and aggressive, enthusiastic kitties!
